Hi, I'm Florence, a classically-trained soprano, currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, where I've been honoured to receive a scholarship.

I grew up in London and began singing in school productions at an early age. Midway through my school career, I moved to Lancashire and continued to perform in festivals, competitions and stage productions throughout my teens.

I sang in several musical theatre shows, including the role of Grizabella in LATA Productions' staging of "Cats" - winner of four NODA awards. I also took on pure acting roles, playing Mrs van Daan in Cou Cou Productions’ “Diary of Anne Frank” at The Grand Theatre, Blackpool. And I played the lead in United Utilities “reservoir safety” advertisement.

I was twice a regional finalist in the Rotary Young Musician of the Year Competition in 2017 and 2018.

In 2019, I performed with the Helios Orchestra, singing Mendelssohn's oratorio "Elijah". I'ver performed multiple times with the RCS Chamber Choir for BBC Scotland.

My operatic roles have included Cherubino from Mozart's "Marriage of Figaro" for Preston Opera, Virtu in Monteverdi's "L'Incoronazione di Poppea" and Mustardseed in Britten's "Midsummer Night's Dream", both for RCS.
